Friends -- Louisiana's unemployment trust fund is about to run out.

That means thousands of people who are out of work because of the pandemic won't get the help they need.  President Trump's executive orders on pandemic relief have created more uncertainty and confusion. There are no substitutes for a full relief package from Congress.

If Congress does not act soon, thousands of Louisianans will face eviction, Louisiana's unemployment trust fund will run out, and our state's economy will be deeply damaged as a result.
