VOICES April 2026
Dear friend,
Every year, 12 million girls are married before the age of 18.
That’s 23 girls every minute.
Ending child marriage is urgent — and it is achievable. But progress is not happening fast enough.
Today, Girls Not Brides is launching a new strategy [[link removed]] and refreshed identity, focused on accelerating impact by 2030.
Our goal is clear: to help reduce child marriage from 1 in 5 girls to 1 in 7 girls by 2030.
As a global partnership of more than 1,400 organisations across nearly 100 countries, we are bringing together those best placed to drive change — connecting global action with country-level impact.
This next chapter is about going further, faster, together. We won’t stop until child marriage ends — for good.
