Happy Earth Day, john!
Earth is our home, and here in WA-08, we're lucky to live in one of the most beautiful corners of it.
From Mount Rainier to the Enchantments, and everything in between, breathtaking beauty surrounds us here. Washington State is where we live our lives, where our kids will grow up, and the place we all call home.
I've spent my time in Congress trying to protect that home, john. That means defending our public lands, fighting for clean air and water, and fighting back when extremists try to roll those protections back, including our president, Donald Trump, and his Republican yes-men.
They've made it easier for polluters to get away with harming communities. And too often, they've dismissed or outright denied the science on climate change—even as we're seeing more wildfires, flooding, and extreme weather at home and across the country. These are all issues we feel right here in WA-08. We see it in our forests, our snowpack, and the seasons changing in ways that affect daily life. Protecting this place shouldn't be controversial. It's about making sure our kids inherit something just as good— or better —than what we have now.
If you agree it's time to stop denying climate change and start actually protecting our environment, add your name to my petition today. Help me demand that Congressional Republicans take climate change seriously. → [link removed]
