Stats like this from California are the canary in the coal mine, John. Kern County went from 332 uncounted, late ballots in 2024 to 3,303 in 2025. In Riverside County it was almost 6,000 uncounted, late ballots, more than double 2024's total.
Remember: These are from eligible voters, postmarked on time, sent ahead of or on Election Day. They should have counted -- except Trump's changes to the USPS made them arrive too late.
MAGA is trying every trick in the book to end the use of mail-in ballots or make them not count. RUSH $35 or whatever you can to help us reach voters in time to make every voice heard in the midterms and beyond >> [[link removed]]

LA Times: California election experts sound alarm as rate of rejected ballots quadruples [[link removed]]
Here's the deal, John: Due to USPS changes , a huge number of mail-in ballots arrived too late to be counted in last year's special election in California.
A review by the Los Angeles Times showed that " ballots came in late at an average rate four times higher than that of the 2024 election ." By California law, vote-by-mail ballots are considered late if they do not arrive within seven days of election day, even if they are postmarked on or ahead of election day.
What does this mean? There is now concrete proof that Trump's changes to the U.S. Postal Service are aiding his attacks on mail-in voting . California voters did their job and mailed their ballot in accordance with their laws. Trump's attacks on the Postal Service aren't letting them deliver those ballots on time.
John, every voter needs to know about this massive problem. Will you pitch in $35 or whatever you can today and help us spread the word about the USPS changes so we can protect mail-in ballots? >> [[link removed]]

Election officials warned before that 2025 special election that the Postal Service changes could delay the postmarking of ballots and lead to votes not being counted. Trump's USPS leadership shrugged after reducing the number of post office pickups in a quest for "efficiency".
“ Something changed ,” said Melvin E. Levey, who heads the Merced County Registrar of Voters. “ We don’t like seeing late ballots and if someone has made the effort to vote, we want to count it .” Semi-rural Merced County saw almost a sevenfold increase in late-arriving mail ballots in the November election compared with the year before.
We have to make sure every voter understands this change and how it can impact them -- from vote-by-mail, to bills, taxes, legal replies to companies, so much more. What Americans think is the mailing deadline may not be the deadline anymore and that's a huge deal that's generally being under-reported by the media.
Every vote should count, especially those postmarked and mailed ahead of or on election day. Pitch in $35 to help us make that a reality by informing voters about these USPS changes and holding USPS leadership accountable to Americans who deserve on this vital service >> [[link removed]]

Integrity First Voter Action Project is dedicated to expanding ballot access and increasing voter participation across the country.
Since the Supreme Court gutted key provisions in the Voting Rights Act, extreme politicians have taken advantage to pass harsh laws that restrict access to the ballot box. These restrictions particularly affect disadvantaged communities and people of color. It’s our goal to bring awareness to these laws wherever they may crop up and organize voters to take action to ensure the right to vote is available to everyone in their states and communities.
