We just got the results back from our first poll, and we’re pumped about the results: Mike Espy is now just 5 points away from Cindy Hyde-Smith in the race for U.S. Senate in Mississippi.

That’s a 3-point gain for our campaign since the last statewide poll. Our race is competitive. The momentum behind Mike is increasing, and as Mike talked about on MSNBC today, the chances of us pulling off a major upset in November keep growing with grassroots donors like you on our team!

Mike is running for U.S. Senate to finally expand Medicaid in Mississippi — providing affordable health care to hundreds of thousands — and to be an independent voice for all Missisisppians. Despite Mississippi’s troubled past, Mike loves this state and is determined to move our state forward.

Meanwhile, Mississippians are seeing Cindy Hyde-Smith for who she really is: A lackluster political hack who jokes about public hangings and voter suppression. Hyde-Smith won’t even put together a COVID-19 relief plan, despite the fact that the pandemic has killed more than 2,000 of her constituents.
