Happy Earth Day, John!
In Connecticut, we are lucky to live in a state that has taken climate action seriously.

Here is what climate progress looks like in our state:
* Nearly 47,300 clean energy jobs across our state.
* More than $7 billion in economic activity driven by Connecticut’s clean energy sector.
* The first green bank in the country, created right here in Connecticut, which has helped mobilize $3.11 billion in investment statewide.
This work didn’t wait on Washington. It happened because people stayed engaged, paid attention, and pushed for leaders who were willing to act.
That’s what this year’s Earth Day theme, Our Power, Our Planet , is really about. It’s about people showing up and shaping what happens next.
There is still more work ahead, but Connecticut has already shown what is possible when people take this seriously and keep pushing forward.
Happy Earth Day, John. Thanks for being with us.
Sincerely,
Jimmy Tickey
