Advocacy: Nearly 400 Organizations Sign On to Oppose HUD Proposal
Yesterday, with the support of nearly 400 organizations across 43 states, PIF submitted a strong national organizational comment [[link removed]] opposing the new HUD proposal that would put tens of thousands of families—many with U.S. citizen children—at risk of losing housing assistance, forcing families to separate or risk eviction and destabilizing access to the broader safety net. In addition to the comment, we also released a public statement [[link removed]] amplifying our collective opposition and reinforcing the urgent need to protect immigrant families. Read the statement and learn more about the comment via the link below.

TODAY: Demand #ICEout of Sensitive Locations!
ICE violence has deterred immigrant families from getting the health, food, and other basics every family needs to thrive. Our friends at Justice Action Center are suing to restore protections for these sensitive locations, and the federal court hearing is today at Noon Pacific Time. While not all of us can be in the courtroom, we can all raise our voices using the JAC toolkit below.

Video: Let’s Talk Fraud!
Our latest social video tells the truth about fraud, debunking the administration’s lies about immigrant families and basic needs programs, and naming the real fraudsters: corporate criminals. We can shape the narrative and protect immigrant families. Please repost on the platforms you use. The video is on:

Call for Proposals: RWJF Supporting Health Equity Research
The current challenging political environment underscores the value of timely, credible research that is grounded in real‑world conditions—the type of research that has propelled the progress toward health equity our society has made. That is why the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation is launching a call for proposals as part of a new research funding program, Health Equity Research for Action (HERA). HERA will support community-rooted, action-oriented health equity research that reflects lived realities and responds to immediate and long-term needs. Learn more via the link below and apply by May 14.
