When we talk about what's at stake in November, one thing that should be on all our minds is the integrity of our judicial system.

Under Mitch McConnell's leadership, Senate Republicans blocked President Obama's Supreme Court nominee, Merrick Garland, from even receiving a hearing, despite his qualifications and integrity. Since President Trump was sworn in, McConnell has made the Senate a legislative graveyard, instead making the confirmation of ideological judicial nominees his main focus.

The integrity of our courts is on the ballot. From the Supreme Court to hundreds of district courts across our country, our judicial system is core to the rule of law, protection of our constitutional rights, and a more equitable criminal justice system. That's why it's so important that we not only elect Joe Biden and Kamala Harris in November, but also take back control of the Senate.

As Senator, Chris has stood up to President Trump's dangerous judicial nominees on countless occasions. Chris helped lead the fight against Justice Kavanaugh, voted against Justice Gorsuch, and has held many other nominees accountable, including Mitch McConnell's protégé, Justin Walker, during his confirmation hearings.

Chris knows we need more Justices like Sonia Sotomayor and Elena Kagan and fewer Justices like Neil Gorsuch and Brett Kavanaugh. To do that, we need to elect Joe Biden President and elect a Democratic Senate to ensure his judicial nominees are confirmed.
