Despite the fact that our country hit over five million positive cases of COVID-19 this Sunday — at least 380,000 being children — Education Secretary Betsy DeVos continues to be a rubber stamp for Trump's dangerous agenda.
DeVos is encouraging schools to reopen with in-person classrooms. She even went as far as implying children can't transmit COVID-19.
Enough is enough. We won't sacrifice our kids to appease DeVos and Trump's Wall Street donors. Add your name to Dwight's petition right now to tell DeVos our children are NOT expendable.
Listen, forcing schools to reopen with in-person classes won't make the COVID-19 health crisis and financial crisis disappear. Instead, it will put our children, teachers, and staff at risk of getting sick and passing on this deadly virus to loved ones.
