I knew it was going to be a good day yesterday at UT Arlington.

Some stand out moments:

Meeting aerospace engineering major Aixa as she’s holding her laser cut
rocket with printed parts that she designed on CAD.

Evelyn who at 22 got registered for the first time, and when I asked her
why she said I saw you all working so hard over here and thought maybe
there’s something to this.

Peter who is in the national guard and finishing his studies at UTA.
Dedicated to this country and wants to do more to make sure we come out
alright.

Jackson who worries that too many Democrats would “rather do nothing wrong
than something right,” echoed by many of his fellow students who want to
see leadership, action, change.

Vanessa, taking graduation pictures, just finished her criminal justice
degree, going to law school next.

And Belén a high school senior who is touring the campus with her mom as
she chooses between St. Edward’s and UTA.

Our incredible organizers and volunteers helped more than 270 students get
registered, update their registration or confirm their registration today
— and in all cases we will personally stay in touch to answer questions
about voting, protect their voting status and make sure they vote!
