We The Action: Join Us for a Nonprofit Panel, “Exploring Immigration Pro Bono Opportunities” ([link removed])

Join Acacia Center for Justice, TheDream.US, and We The Action for a virtual session exploring how attorneys can support immigrants nationwide through pro bono service and meaningful advocacy. This webinar will highlight recent developments in the immigration landscape and offer volunteers insight into current projects in need of attorney support, showing where your skills can make an immediate impact.

Hope For Tomorrow Community Development Center: Help Seek and Sight Literacy Initiative Protect Intellectual Property ([link removed])

Hope For Tomorrow Community Development Center works to empower at-risk and vulnerable individuals, including homeless, battered, abused, and low-income children, youth, and their families. Support them with matters of copyright, trademark, patent, and intellectual property law as it relates to their literacy platform, which is designed specifically for neurodiverse learners using adaptive technology, multisensory engagement, and STEAM-based games.

Chordoma Foundation: Review and Execute Contracts to Accelerate Research ([link removed])

The Chordoma Foundation envisions a future in which everyone affected by chordoma — a rare bone cancer — is able to overcome their disease and live well. Review and manage execution of a variety of research-related contracts, including grant, material transfer, licensing, confidentiality, master service, and sponsored research agreements.

The Immigration Detention Project works to help individuals seek release from immigration detention in Texas through habeas petitions in federal court. Help immigrants leave inhumane detention conditions and reunite with their families.

Network for Teaching Entrepreneurship (NFTE): Provide Legal Research and Guidance for Understanding OBBBA SGO Tax Credit ([link removed])

NFTE is a global nonprofit that partners with schools, districts, and like-minded organizations to deliver entrepreneurship curricula. Advise whether the nonprofit can make the OBBBA SGO tax credit available to their donors. This may include support with research to establish proper organizational framework and how to leverage strategic partners.
