OUR DEADLINE IS TOMORROW—PITCH IN NOW!

Dear Friend,
We've nearly reached the August 31 deadline for PETA's Compassionate Library
Project—and we need your help to meet our $15,000 goal.
I know we can get there—but only with your help and that of other caring
supporters.
With violence in schools on the rise, we can't wait any longer to ensure that
kids develop empathy and compassion for all living, feeling beings, which will
help them grow into kind adults.
Your urgently needed gift will provide help to spread the message of respect for
animals where it is needed most: in the classroom. Donate now and give this
first-of-its-kind project an immediate boost!

Through a groundbreaking partnership with a school district in the Deep South,
we're supporting educators as they teach students that the Golden Rule—treat
others as you want to be treated—applies to animals, too. There isn't a lot of
time left to help spread this important message where hunting is common and
animals suffer every day.
Pitch in before midnight on August 31 and help PETA stand up against cruelty to
animals by teaching children lessons of empathy and compassion.
Time is running out to leave your mark on future generations. Please do your
part to help stop violence and suffering by giving to PETA's Compassionate
Library Project right now.

Together, we can create a brighter and more peaceful future for everyone.
Kind regards,
Ingrid E. Newkirk
President
