Friend, there is no bottom when it comes to how badly Mitch has failed us during this crisis.

After months of inaction that included the total expiration of federal unemployment relief, Mitch proposed legislation that would do the absolute bare minimum for Americans—and then he couldn’t even bring it to vote, much less get it passed.

Mitch talks a lot about how much power he has in Washington, but it doesn’t mean much if he can’t put it to work when we need it most. And instead of taking responsibility and vowing to find a solution, he took his ball home and blamed his political opponents.

The problem with that excuse is: Mitch is the one in charge—for now. (Let’s change that.)

Meanwhile, 1 million Kentuckians have filed for unemployment and over 40% of our renters are at risk of eviction. These folks don’t care about partisan games. They care about keeping food on the table and a roof over their heads. They care about keeping their families safe during a pandemic.

And Mitch has greased the wheels to make it happen. In Mitch’s America, they always come out on top, no matter how badly folks are suffering back home in Kentucky.

Now, more than ever, we deserve a senator who serves US first—not special interests, not the interests of his family, not the interests of the wealthy and powerful.
