It’s Lindsay again, Chris’s Campaign Manager. I wanted to check in now that election season is right around the corner.

It’s hard to believe, but ballots will be in the hands of voters in less than two months. Given the realities of COVID-19, more and more voters will be opting to vote by mail this year. And more critically, many of our usual voter turnout methods will be impossible given the limitations on in-person contact.

But the good news is we have a plan to get the votes we need. But it’s critical that we make sure our (mostly-remote) field program is as robust as possible. To do that, we need your help:

One important tool we’re leaning on is our weekly phone banks.

Every Wednesday, Team Bubser volunteers come together on a video conference and call undecided voters in our community about the importance of our race. This is one vital piece of our outreach that your contributions will help us significantly scale in the coming weeks.

Instead of knocking doors, our volunteers are also mailing thousands of personalized postcards into the CA-08 community explaining why we support Chris. There's still time to send thousands more with your financial support.

But, John, coordinating volunteers for an elite field effort costs money, and it’s critical that we grow our budget if we’re going to flip this seat.
