Right now, two Republicans are ahead in the polls, threatening to lock Democrats out of consideration in the general election.

One of the leading candidates is Chad Bianco, a far-right sheriff in my district with a history of dangerous, extremist behavior.

And Trump just waded into the race by endorsing Steve Hilton, the other Republican candidate, in an effort to secure a Republican win.
