I’ve gotten to know many of our talented Freshmen Democrats this year. But I’ll be honest, Mikie stands out.

She’s a tough fighter who isn’t afraid to tackle the big issues head-on. It’s no surprise why -- she’s a former Navy helicopter pilot, a former federal prosecutor, and mother of four.

And Mikie has never forgotten that the most important thing in Congress is to fight for her constituents, not special interests. After Trump foolishly put a cap on the state and local tax deduction, Mikie has led the charge in Congress to repeal it and provide local homeowners with the tax relief they deserve.

That’s why I’m reaching out today: I need Mikie in the House to help me fight for what’s right. And I need your support to keep her there. Will you contribute before her August deadline this Saturday at midnight?

If we’re going to get things done in Congress, we need to protect and grow our Democratic House Majority. And the path to the Majority runs straight through Mikie’s district.

Mikie’s seat is one of the most vulnerable in the entire country. That’s why Democrats named her as one of our Frontline Members. We need to protect her seat at all costs.

But that’s also why Washington Republicans have named Mikie as one of their top targets and have mobilized to unseat her. They have launched attacks against her to take back the House Majority, stop our progress, and give this administration a green light to do whatever he wants.

If we don’t organize to help re-elect Mikie, we’ll risk losing her seat, the Majority, and our abilities to hold the administration accountable and advance progress. And most crucially, we’ll lose Mikie as a champion for New Jersey families in Washington. We can’t let that happen.
