Andy just went to Georgia to talk about just how much is at stake this year and why it matters that we elect good candidates and good people at every level—from local races all the way up to the national stage.

And he had some advice for candidates beyond the usual. He told them something clear and urgent: Get your boots dirty.

"For too long, the national Democratic Party wrote off the South," Andy said. The key to winning voters over, he shared, starts with "showing up, getting dirt on our boots, and then governing well."

That means showing up in communities everywhere, listening to voters about the problems that are affecting their lives, and making it clear how you will solve those problems.
