Vice President Biden has made an excellent choice in selecting Senator Kamala Harris as his running mate. Harris has a record of action on economic justice, equality, health care, climate change, consumer protection, voting rights, and gun violence prevention.

There’s nothing Kamala can’t do—she’s shown us she can lead. She has vision and character and grit. We are looking forward to her leadership in the Biden-Harris Administration.

But we also know the next 10 weeks won’t be easy. As soon as the news about Kamala broke yesterday afternoon, the Trump campaign went up with a negative ad against her and Biden. They’re going to fight us, and fight dirty, every step of the way to November with everything they’ve got.
