Thank you for all your resistance efforts this past week. We appreciate everything you are doing to help your neighbors and community!
This afternoon, we were thrilled with the turnout for our Meet the Candidates event! Due to time constraints and limits on our venue’s capacity, we were not able to include all candidates for all races in the upcoming primary. We look forward to hosting more Meet the Candidates events this election cycle, and our goal is to include as many candidates as we can over the coming months. BlueGrass Activist Alliance does not endorse candidates in primary elections.

Signs of Solidarity Volunteers (ongoing action)
Sign up now to visit local businesses in Lexington. Ask the business owners or managers to post signs that declare their support for their immigrant neighbors and opposition to ICE as well as create a private area for employees that ICE cannot legally enter without a signed judicial warrant. These are simple steps that businesses can take to protect their employees from ICE and make all immigrants feel welcome in your community.

* MORAL MONDAYS IN GEORGETOWN - APR 20TH
Join Georgetown Resistance for a weekly protest at Scott County Courthouse (101 E. Main St in Georgetown) from 4:45 p.m until 5:45 p.m. The group asks that you bring non-confrontational, positive signs focused on issues. You can join their private Facebook group ([link removed]) for updates.
* FCDP CALL CREW - APR 22ND
Join the Fayette County Democrats as they call and activate Democrats across Lexington on Wednesday, April 22nd at 6 p.m. at Fayette Young Dems HQ (431 S. Broadway in Lexington). FCDP will provide training. Register on Mobilize ([link removed]) .
* KENTUCKY DATA CENTERS ORGANIZING CALL - APR 23RD
Join Kentuckians for the Commonwealth as they provide guidance on standing up against hyperscale data center projects across the Commonwealth during their organizing call on Thursday, April 23rd from 7 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. More details and call signup on Mobilize ([link removed]) .
* FCDP + FYD DAY OF ACTION WITH ADRIELLE CAMUEL - APR 26TH
Join the Fayette County Democratic Party and Fayette Young Dems for a day of action canvassing for HD 93 candidate Adrielle Camuel on Sunday, April 26th from 10 a.m. until 12 p.m. Meet at the Tates Creek Aquatic Center pool (1400 Gainesway Dr.) at 10 a.m. More details and RSVP on Mobilize ([link removed]) .
* PEACEFUL BLUEGRASS RESISTANCE PROTESTS
Peaceful Bluegrass Resistance is doing roadside protests multiple days per week and sometimes more than once per day! To get involved, sign up on their website ([link removed]) .
