I was sitting here getting ready for the week and I figured I’d give my top supporters a quick campaign update.

Serving Texas is the honor of my lifetime, and I wake up every day excited to get to represent the people of southern Texas. We’ve worked so hard to fight for benefits for veterans, affordable prescription drugs, accessible education, and so much more.

But the 2024 election was one of the closest yet. We won by just about 11,000 votes and 2026 is proving to be an even tougher fight. Republican lawmakers have redrawn Texas maps, making it harder for working families to have fair representation. I’m on their list of top targets and they’ll be spending big against me to try and flip this seat.
