Friends, I just wanted to say THANK YOU again for helping push us over the line into the general election. This could not have been possible without your support.


Looking ahead, there is no doubt in my mind rebuilding the economy post-COVID will be the most pressing issue surrounding the next legislative session. 


I am committed to leading during what will certainly be the most significant budget challenge Washington has faced since the 1981-83 biennium and ensure our programs which provide essential services and resources are protected. We are not going to be able to cut our way out of this hole. 


When we rebuild our economy now, we must take advantage of the opportunity to do this better and provide for more broadly shared prosperity.
