It’s official: Rep. Ilhan Omar, handily defeated her GOP-funded opponent
in her primary election yesterday.
GOP donors and Super PACs put everything they had into defeating Ilhan —
but she had the support of the communities and people who she’s fought for
in Congress.
AOC, Rashida, and Ilhan have now all won resounding primary victories —
showing the strength of this bold, progressive movement for justice and
equity. We can’t stop now. Ayanna’s primary election is in just 20 days,
and we need your help to organize like never before to keep building this
movement and send Ayanna back to Congress this fall.
