It’s official -- Kamala Harris will join Joe Biden on the Democratic ticket.
There was a long list of candidates in contention, but ultimately, Harris’s success as a prosecutor and a lawmaker as well as her historic diversity (both the first Black and first Asian-American candidate to appear on a national ticket) earned her a well-deserved spot on the ballot.
We know Trump’s history of ugly attacks on women, especially women of color, means that Kamala Harris will be subjected to some of the worst vitriol this failed president has to offer.
That’s why it’s so crucial that we greet our next VP with a groundswell of support. With just 12 weeks until the November election, please let us know if you’ll be supporting the Democratic ticket in 2020:
