Dear John,
Netroots Nation kicks off tomorrow so I wanted to give you a few quick updates on speakers and programming before the fun begins.
If you haven't yet gotten your ticket, it's not too late! Click here to register now and gain access to 150+ hours of live interactive content (which you can also watch when the event is over).
• Tonight at 7pm Eastern, join us for a special screening of And She Could Be Next, directed by Grace Lee and Marjan Safinia. The series follows candidates and organizers across the country, asking whether democracy itself can be preserved—and made stronger—by those most marginalized. After the screening, the filmmakers will host a Q&A. You can access the screening and conversation through our virtual platform.
• Want to log in and see how everything works so you can hit the ground running tomorrow? Log in to the app today between 5 and 9pm Eastern and drop in to our Attendee Test-run to preview the two main event technologies we are using this year. A Virtual Hallway (using the platform Shindig) and sample Panel Room (Zoom webinar) will be open, and staff will be around to answer questions and troubleshoot any issues you might have.
• And finally, we wanted to give you a quick update on some of the speakers you'll get to hear from this weekend: Sen. Elizabeth Warren; Stacey Abrams; Rep. Deb Haaland; Rep. Barbara Lee; Rep. Katie Porter; Rep. Pramila Jayapal; Rep. Ilhan Omar; Rep. Ayanna Pressley; Rep. Joe Neguse; Rep. Ro Khanna; Rep. Debbie Dingell; Alicia Garza; Color of Change’s Rashad Robinson; NDN Collective’s Nick Tilsen; candidates Jamaal Bowman, Mondaire Jones and Summer Lee; and so many more. Our agenda features Secretaries of State, Attorneys General, heads of progressive organizations and frontline activists doing great work across the country.
Don't miss out! Click here to register now.
We'll see you online tomorrow!
