For over 500 years since the colonization of the Americas, Indigenous Peoples have survived through Revolutionary Evolution of Resistance and Resilience.
Our ancestors and elders have gone through great lengths and centuries of enduring sacrifice, trauma yet never giving up to pass on ancestral knowledge and traditions from one generation to the next.
We are excited to support the next generation of emerging young organizers as they have been co-coordinating rallies, marches and events since the death of George Floyd which has ignited the necessity to continue fighting the injustices that Native, Black, Brown Indigenous communities have been dealing with for too long.
This outdoor event is free and open to the public. It is a space of love and celebration in the face of fighting against a pandemic, political, social, environmental injustices and over 500 years of resisting colonization. We will be encouraging and implementing social distancing protocols: masks, 6ft distance and sanitizing stations.
