Hi y'all,

We're almost at the end of the month, and what an August it's been! I've been driving up, down, and across the state of Texas for barbecues, roundtables, and picnics with voters. Summer may be winding down, but our race is heating up!

I can't wait to keep crisscrossing the state, getting to know more and more Texans and hearing their stories and priorities. But before we reach the end of August, we have to raise an additional $15,214 to hit our monthly goal. Will you pitch in $10, or whatever you can, to help us reach our goal?

I know your money is hard-earned, so I promise I'm using every dollar working hard to earn votes all across Texas. Your contributions help get us from city to city and pay for ads to keep our message spreading far and wide.

I believe that senators should answer to the people, not corporate campaign donors. That's why I'm not taking any corporate PAC money -- and it means the money we raise from folks like you makes all the difference in keeping this campaign running strong. John Cornyn may have a $9 million war chest funded by his special interest donors, but I have you standing with me.

Can you help us hit our August goal and keep this campaign on track by pitching in $10?

Thanks for everything you do to support this campaign - it means the world to me and my team!
