Did you know that Postal Service workers take an oath of office?

"I, _____, do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; that I  take  this  obligation  freely,  without  any  mental reservation or purpose of evasion; and that I will well and faithfully discharge the duties of the office on which I am about to enter."

If you think this looks familiar, you're not wrong. It's nearly identical to the oath Matt Gaetz took when he entered office as a U.S. Representative.

But John, the USPS is under attack, and Gaetz has done nothing to protect it. So, we need to stand together and demand that Congress protect the Postal Service. Will you sign your name? [link removed]

The Postal Service delivers medicine for families, letters to service members at home and abroad, and Social Security checks for seniors every day. It's been written into our Constitution since our nation’s founding because it's so central to our society. But because Donald Trump is scared that he'll lose if every American can safely cast their ballot by mail, he's making moves to slow the Postal Service.

And Matt? Well, he's had nothing to say on the matter.
