According to POLITICO, Donald Trump has committed "a full-fledged assault" on voting by mail since the COVID-19 pandemic began this spring.

Trump has been aided by the GOP, which has dedicated millions of dollars to court cases aimed at fighting voting rights -- in order to strip them away from Democratic-leaning voters.

Now, Trump is contemplating more drastic steps in his fight. POLITICO reports that Trump's aides and other GOP officials are designing possible executive actions Trump can take to hinder mail-in voting, including setting an Election Day deadline to count absentee ballots and directing the US Postal Service to not deliver certain ballots.

Donald Trump is committed to suppressing the vote to win re-election. With a top crony now running the USPS, Trump is doing everything in his power to sabotage the agency and its ability to deliver and collect mail-in ballots. This is pure, unadulterated voter suppression, and it needs to stop RIGHT NOW.
