We've sent you a number of emails about tonight's FEC deadline -- the last one of the primary. Before we ask you to make a donation, we thought it was important to explain to you exactly why emails like this are so important.

We're up against nearly $6 million in spending from Joe Kennedy and his super PAC right now. He's got big-money backers of the status quo pouring money in this race to prop up his campaign.

And today, Joe Kennedy is probably on the phone trying to rake in $2,800 checks. That's why his average donation was nearly triple ours in June.

We don't have that kind of max-out machine. Instead, we count on small-dollar donations to make sure we can compete. And the truth is, these emails are how we do that because the majority of our donations come from people like you giving what they can in response to emails like this one.

With 20 days to go, every dollar matters, so we're once again asking:

Will you donate $3 or whatever you can afford to our campaign before tonight's final FEC deadline? Every donation -- no matter the amount -- sends a powerful message about our movement's strength.
