3 Ways to Stand Up to
Antisemitism and Extremism this Fall

Dear John,

Hundreds of torch-wielding white supremacists descended on Charlottesville, Virginia three years ago this week for the Unite the Right rally, chanting “Jews will not replace us!” and other words of hate. One of the extremists drove his car into the protesters, tragically killing Heather Heyer and injuring dozens more.

The Charlottesville rally galvanized white supremacists — but it also energized those of us who work to keep them from spreading hate.

2020 is another inflection point.

The year started against the backdrop of the highest number of antisemitic incidents that ADL has seen in decades of tracking; then saw the spread of the devastating Coronavirus pandemic, bringing antisemitic scapegoating and anti-Asian racism in its wake.

And in the months since then, following the murder of George Floyd, our country has been engaged in a long overdue reckoning around racial injustice.

Will you stand up to say that we have not, cannot, and will not sit idly by as hate continues to flourish in our communities and online in these unprecedented times?

If that’s your plan (and it should be), then ADL invites you to three vital virtual events where your voice will be heard, and where you can make a difference in fighting antisemitism, racism and hate of all kinds.
