As the coronavirus has ravaged our communities, McConnell's hardline approach to blocking Democratic legislation has ushered in a truly grim reality. Millions of Americans are out of work through no fault of their own, and the benefits conferred by the CARES Act have expired, pushing millions of families to the brink of financial ruin.

We need to take action: to extend unemployment benefits; to make sure our healthcare workers and everyone on the front lines has the PPE they need; to invest in teachers and broadband to make sure our students can learn, whether at home or in the classroom; to fund the U.S. Postal Service; and so many other critical priorities.

This can't wait any longer: Sign on now to call on the Senate to support these priorities and pass a relief bill!

The Democratic-led House has done its part to help struggling families and frontline workers, passing a new round of relief legislation in May. But their bill has been sitting on McConnell's desk for months, along with more than 400 other House bills that he refuses to act on.

McConnell didn't even acknowledge the new relief bill until last week, after the benefits provided by the last relief bill had run out. Now, President Trump signed inadequate and largely unenforceable executive orders to try to distract from the real situation at hand.

New legislation to help Americans through this pandemic is long overdue. Add your name to tell the Senate to renew unemployment insurance benefits and support for frontline workers immediately.
