Last week we reached out with the goal of raising $10,000 to fund a new organizing effort — TextVets — where we set out to send 50,000 texts to veterans and voters in Florida in support of Navy Veteran and U.S. House Pam Keith. Because of you we hit that goal, and last week our team of VoteVets organizers sent 48,776 text messages into the state.
If we can keep up this momentum, our impact this election cycle could be huge.
Because this was such a successful and effective way to reach critical voters and spread the word about Pam, we’ve decided to set another microgoal of $10,000 to fund another round of texts into Florida ahead of the primary next week.

The average donation the last time we asked we set this same goal was just $13 a person. That just goes to show that it’s never about the amount you contribute — it’s about what’s possible when we all show up, however we can, to build and strengthen our movement.
Thanks for your help with this critical program to reach veterans and voters in key battleground states like Florida. We’re going to elect veterans to the House and Senate, and we’re going to do it together.
