Bayer control over new GMO technology or not.

Bayer is basically weeks away from taking over the whole food system
unless we take urgent action to create the biggest international pressure
possible and make sure, the whole world is saying NO to GMOs!

Ready to eat Bayer-produced genetically modified corn, cucumbers, and
tomatoes? EU leaders are -- and they're pushing ahead with a plan to let
Bayer and accomplices patent thousands of genetically-modified seeds.

This means Bayer will get to decide what farmers can grow, and what food
we can eat. It's a massive power grab and will hand corporations control
of Europe's food supply.

We still have some time to stop the EU from selling out to Bayer -- but we
must act now. Because in less than a month, decision-makers will meet to
make the final decision.

The EU has long been a global leader on food safety and standards -- but
with Bayer's lobbyists working overtime, they are about to cave. We need a
massive wave of public pressure to push back and force EU leaders to put
people and planet first, not corporate profits.

Bayer, Syngenta and Co. have been lobbying hard to deregulate GMOs so they
can own and control new types of GMO, called New Genomic Techniques
(NGTs). They lie and say these modified seeds will do wonders for farmers,
but the truth is they just want to officially own new GMO-technologies and
the seeds so they can control the seed supply, the sale of seeds, and who
can use them and under what terms – through licensing fees or restrictions
on seed saving.

These deregulation efforts of GMOs in the EU are deeply concerning.

Now, decision makers want to sell seed patents to corporations like Bayer,
giving a handful of seed corporations control over our seeds and food.
This threatens farmers’ independenсe and citizens’ freedom of choice on
what to buy and eat.

We have less than a month to block the EU’s dangerous decision -- so we
must act now and make sure people and the planet are safe from Bayer’s
