Over the past weeks, we've invited you along to events to discuss different aspects of a Green Recovery. We've talked about the integration of Green Business, that is community owned or circular. We've discussed how work is a Green issue, how social justice and environmental justice are to sides of the same coin.

But what does a Green Recovery mean to you? For us it means:

🌀 An economy that works for people, not people working for the economy

❌ Putting an end to our degenerative carbon economy

🏠 A roof over every head

⏫ A society that lifts every single one of us up

In these events we've been joined by people who are living the Green New Deal. Our panelists were anything from regenerative business owners challenging traditional notions of consumerism to our very own Green councillors, sharing their knowledge of working hard to implement a Green New Deal in their local areas. They have shown us that better is possible -- it's already happening!

We have also discovered what unites us and it has become so clear: a GREEN voice has never been more important to make sure that the recovery package we get from this pandemic really is green and will create systems change. That happens when people stand up and work together to tip the balance of power, forcing the government to build back better. Are you in?
