Hi team,
We are preparing for this race to come down to a razor-thin margin in November, and this is the time when we need to buckle down and make sure we all have a plan to make our voices count.
The full slate of our district’s ballot is set, now that Senator Kamala Harris has been selected to join Joe Biden as his running mate -- becoming the first woman of color on the top of a major party ticket.
But taking part in 2020 isn’t on pause until Election Day. From now until November 3rd, we’ve got to commit ourselves to voting, make a plan to show up for ourselves and our community, and cast our ballots.
So, whether you choose to vote early, vote by mail, or at the polls on Election Day, I need your commitment that you will make your voice heard this year.
If we want to keep holding the line in Washington to work on behalf of people, then we need to make sure we play an active part in our democracy.
Special interest groups and dark money super PACs are betting on you to sit this election out. So I need to be able to count on you this election year -- just like I counted on you in 2018.
Please, with our Upstate New York priorities on the ballot in these final months, commit to vote by signing your name next to mine.
Thank you team -- just 83 days from Election Day!
