Very early this morning, House Speaker Mike Johnson attempted to RAM FISA Section 702 renewal through the U.S. House with a FIVE-YEAR expiration and a fake warrant “requirement.”

But your calls, emails, and petitions made ALL the difference when 702 renewal went down in flames by a vote of 197-228 at 2:08 am!

Section 702 of FISA was meant to give authority to the federal government to gather intelligence and spy on foreigners in foreign lands.

But in recent years, they have turned the data collection and spying on you and me, with no evidence of a crime and no warrant required.

You and I have been fighting for years to restore our Fourth Amendment rights and require the government to GET A WARRANT before they can examine our personal information.

We are closer to winning this battle than we have ever been . . . but the battle is not finished yet!

After Johnson’s backroom scheme failed last night, the House passed a ten-day extension to buy time to “work out a compromise.”

Johnson and his Deep State cronies just moved their goal line to April 30.

And that means it’s more important than EVER that we stay on our toes and see this battle through to the end.

The statists are scared, and they will not let up over the next two weeks. So you and I can’t let up either.

But at the same time, enjoy this moment, knowing your action in defense of liberty still matters!
