<h3><strong>Get $50 in "Market Bucks" to spend at&nbsp;the Auburn Farmers'&nbsp;Market!&nbsp;</strong></h3>
<p>As part of our Food Security program, the City of Auburn is offering &ldquo;Market Bucks&rdquo; to eligible households. Market Bucks may be used at the Auburn Farmer&rsquo;s Market (for food items only) and is intended to assist families experiencing food insecurity due to the COVID-19 pandemic.</p>
<p>If you qualify, you can pick up your market bucks right at the Auburn Farmers' Market! Simply complete the <a href="[link removed](1).pdf" target="_blank">self-certification form</a> and drop it off to staff at the Market, which is held each Wednesday on Main Street (near Festival Plaza) from 4:00 - 7:00PM.&nbsp;</p>
<p>To qualify, you must:</p>
<ul>
<li>Be an Auburn Resident</li>
<li>Be Income Eligible &ndash; Below 80% of median income</li>
<li>Complete the <a href="[link removed](1).pdf" target="_blank">Self-Certification Form</a></li>
<li>Limited to one benefit per household</li>
</ul>
<p>Eligible families can also sign up for this benefit through Auburn's Health &amp; Social Services Department by calling: 207-333-6601 X1411.</p>

<p><em>This program is funded&nbsp;through the recently enacted CARES Act, which provides additional CDBG funds to the City of Auburn. The Citizen&rsquo;s Advisory Committee identified areas of need where CDBG funds could have the greatest impact to residents and small businesses, including food insecurity.</em></p>
