Washington, DC - OCA-Asian Pacific American Advocates thanks our sponsors, community partners, speakers and panelists, and all attendees for a successful end to the OCA Summit: Resilient Communities.

The Summit’s success lies with the many virtual attendees. There were over 1,000 attendees in total at our 19 workshops, sessions, and film screenings. We had the honor of having 77 community and business leaders join us to share their expertise and passion for advancing the community.

OCA thanks Platinum sponsors UPS and State Farm, Gold sponsors AARP, AT&T, Comcast NBCUniversal, T-Mobile, Verizon, and Wells Fargo, Silver sponsors Coca Cola, McDonalds, and Sodexo, and Bronze sponsor Caesars Entertainment for their financial support. We would like to give special thanks to McDonald’s for sponsoring the Youth Track and AARP for sponsoring the COVID-19 and Our Elderly session. We also offer special thanks to Crossings TV for being the official summit local media sponsor.

OCA thanks our many community partners ([link removed]) for sharing information about the summit and engaging local communities across the nation. We had 32 community partner organizations join us, whose efforts resulted in the successful attendance of the Summit.

“I would like to thank everyone who sponsored, staffed, or attended the OCA Summit” says Rita Pin Ahrens, OCA National Executive Director. “Without your support, donations, and time, the work that we do would not reach communities across the country with such positive impact. Seeing the widespread success of this conference gives us the momentum to move forward and continue to bolster the work of OCA nationally and locally. We hope to see all of you next year -- virtually or in person!”

OCA–Asian Pacific American Advocates is a national civil rights organization dedicated to improving the social, political, and economic well-being of Asian American and Pacific Islanders (AAPIs).
