For years, I have disagreed with Republicans on policy. But what the GOP is doing now goes far beyond a disagreement.

We are seeing fundamental democratic decency abandoned at the highest levels of government.

Republicans have forfeited the right to lead. And honestly? I want revenge.

I never imagined that this "women's group with the funny name" would grow to become one of the most powerful political organizations in the country. But EMILY's List has grown, and we are powerful. In 2018, this community supported enough women to single-handedly flip the House, and elect the most diverse incoming Congress in history.

We were angry at what we saw happening, and our anger led to great and lasting change.

And now in this era of Trump, the botched handling of a national health crisis, unemployment at a sky high level, and the continued injustices against people of color in this country, are we less angry today? Hell no! We have seen and felt the devastation of bad Republican leadership firsthand.

YES, we want to elect more women because we know when women lead, we all win. But we also want to vote these Republicans out and vote our women in because we want revenge.
