This month is Black August, originating in the California penal system to honor fallen Freedom Fighters, Jonathan Jackson, George Jackson, William Christmas, James McClain, and Khatari Gaulden.

It is a time to reflect and learn from the rich history of Black revolutionaries and struggles by rededicating ourselves to the protracted struggles against white supremacy, colonialism, capitalism, and imperialism!
