Take only 45 seconds to make an impact.
Last night, the Senate defeated two resolutions to block arms sales to Israel. The votes were

40-59 and

36-63 .

It’s critical that Senators hear from pro-Israel constituents, expressing appreciation for those who voted to stand with Israel and disappointment to those who voted to block arms to our ally fighting a multi-front war.
TAKE 45 SECONDS: Thank those who voted NO on Sanders' dangerous resolutions and express your disappointment in those who voted YES.

Background:
-
Regardless of a senator's opinion on the current war, cutting off arms sales to Israel undermines the Jewish state's ability to defend itself and advance American national security interests.

-
During this moment, there must be no daylight between America and Israel. Sanders' dangerous resolutions would have undermined Israel's security and embolden its enemies.

-
S.J.Res. 138 – defeated

36-63 – would have blocked the sale of 1,000-pound bombs to Israel.

-
S.J.Res. 32 – defeated
[link removed]
40-59 – would have blocked the sale of armored Caterpillar D9 Bulldozers to Israel.

-
Allowing our democratic ally to buy the American-made weapons it needs to protect its families from Iran and terrorist organizations is squarely in the U.S. national interest. As CENTCOM Commander Brad Cooper said today, “There is no better teammate than Israel” in the fight against our shared enemies.

-
Congress must continue to stand with our ally as it confronts ongoing threats and fights to protect its people.

The mission of AIPAC is to encourage and persuade the U.S. government to enact specific policies that create a strong, enduring and mutually beneficial relationship with our ally Israel.
