John, today I'm feeling hopeful. More hopeful than I have in a while.

Yesterday, we learned that Joe Biden has chosen Kamala Harris—a fierce fighter for the American people—to be his running mate.

Having worked with Kamala for years, I can say she is more than prepared to be our next Vice President. I've seen her take on the big banks and corrupt special interests, and let me tell you, Trump and Pence don't stand a chance.

One of my favorite memories from when I launched my campaign for Congress was when I received Kamala's endorsement. She was one of the very first people to support my candidacy. I'm honored to send my support back to the Senator from California, and my friend, as she begins this new chapter.

Now, it's full speed ahead towards Election Day. John, let's show Joe and Kamala that Porter Supporters have their backs.
