This week kicks off the inaugural rePRO by mama.film, a virtual film festival dedicated to raising awareness about reproductive health, rights, and justice through the power of film and meaningful conversation. The five-day event features a variety of topics including health care access, pregnancy, sexual education, and abortion.

Running from August 12 through August 16, the festival's lineup includes 14 call-to-action conversations about reproductive rights and 15 incredible films, including Toxic, a short film about racism in maternal health care, Belly of the Beast, a documentary that exposes the involuntary sterilization of women in the California prison system, and many more. Plus, on August 14 at 8 PM ET, CRR Senior Staff Attorney Pilar Herrero joins the festival’s digital panel discussion about recent legal attacks on reproductive rights. Click here to register.
