Yesterday, future President Joe Biden announced his historic pick for his running mate — Senator Kamala Harris — who's impressive record speaks for itself.

Senator Harris is a fighter that isn't afraid to challenge this Administration's corrupt behavior, a fellow Congressional Black Caucus colleague and, most of all, she's a good person and friend.

In these unprecedented times, we need leaders like Joe and Kamala that will end the Trump dictatorship once and for all. I know that these two will fight for working families here in North Texas and beyond and unify our nation to fight against the very real challenges we are facing today.

I can't wait to see Joe and Kamala on the trail together and watch them restore the soul of the nation when they become the 46th President and Vice President of the United States of America.

As Former President Barrack Obama said, "now let's go win this thing."
