This year alone, your support helped us work with Congress to secure more than $500 million for lifesaving missile defense programs like Iron Dome as well as $25 million for U.S.-Israel counter-drone cooperation. This is in addition to $3.3 billion in annual security assistance to Israel.


Congress also stood with Israel against discrimination from the International Criminal Court in letters to Secretary of State Mike Pompeo signed by 69 Senators and 262 Representatives.


And just this month, the House allocated $4 million to create a new U.S.-Israel grant program to find solutions to COVID-19 and other health problems. AIPAC members worked closely with Congress to quickly build support for this important initiative and chart a path to push it forward.

Each of these important bipartisan initiatives strengthens and expands the U.S.-Israel relationship…which helps keep Israelis safe. But our work with Congress would not happen without the investment and support from AIPAC members like you.

Our work together is essential, especially as the Middle East remains unstable and our political climate at home is increasingly partisan.


In the weeks and months ahead, we must be ready to work with Congress to:
- Oppose Iran’s destabilizing activities in the region. Iran remains the principal obstacle to peace and stability in the Middle East. Even under the constraints of the United Nations arms embargo, Iran has continued its malign behavior.
- Maintain and expand America’s commitment to Israel’s security by supporting full funding for security assistance to Israel for fiscal year 2021—$3.3 billion—as well as an additional $500 million for U.S.-Israel missile defense cooperation.
- Defend Israel from malicious economic attacks. Efforts at the United Nations and elsewhere increasingly seek to delegitimize and isolate Israel. These pernicious efforts, such as boycotts, divestments and sanctions, unfairly target the Jewish state.Your investment helps make this work possible.
