Champion Clapping

Dear John,

Over the last month, women from across the country have been answering
the call to support their peers, submitting their applications to
attend WomenHeart's Annual Science & Leadership Symposium, hoping
to be part of the next class of WomenHeart Champions. Starting in
September, successful applicants will come together - this year, we're
going virtual - to share their heart stories, learn from top
cardiologists and clinicians at the Mayo Clinic about heart disease in
women and become more deeply engaged with WomenHeart's programs and
services. Already, they have demonstrated eagerness and excitement for
the opportunity to take their own experiences with heart disease and
use them to help others. At the end of the 2020 Science &
Leadership Symposium, the Class of 2020 WomenHeart Champions will
be prepared to start virtual support groups, provide health education
in their communities - and online - and advocate for women's heart
health at all levels.

You can be part of this important work. Your donation today helps
women with heart disease become leaders who support and educate women
living with and at risk of heart disease in their communities and
across the country.

During this time, WomenHeart remains committed to supporting,
educating and advocating for the millions of women living with or at
risk of heart disease. While the settings may now be virtual, we have
found innovative and creative ways to continue providing our programs
and educational resources, like this Symposium (click here for more
details). Please support this critical work with a donation
today.
