Last week, scientists confirmed that 3 billion animals were lost in Australia’s bushfires. As wildfires increase around the globe, in frequency and intensity, these figures will begin to rise, catapulting more species towards extinction and disrupting entire ecosystems. The Wildfire Appeal ([link removed]) will help to protect the future of species in reserves around South America, Asia and Europe.

The greatest strength of WLT is our partners and the diversity of experiences they bring to our partnership. Partners from more than 20 American, African and Asian countries are pictured here at our regular symposium in March 2020.

Strength in Diversity

With our staff and partners around the world, World Land Trust brings together people of different backgrounds, faiths and cultures. Together we are united through friendship and our work to Save Land and Save Species.

However, we think that we can do more to become more inclusive, so WLT's CEO Jonathan Barnard has signed a commitment to the 'Eight Principles to address the diversity deficit in charity leadership'.
