Voters made it clear, John:
They want a district attorney who will keep Wake County safe, tackle political corruption, and build a stronger justice system.
I recently spoke with The News & Observer about three of my main priorities for when I take office in January to ensure we’re building a justice system that fights for real accountability. You can check it out here. [[link removed]]

Strengthening our justice system starts with building a district attorney’s office that has the resources to get the job done. That means significantly increasing the number of prosecutors working in our DA’s office.
I’m also going to do whatever it takes to protect our community — especially from ICE’s abuses of power, which have made us less safe, not more.
And while Donald Trump shreds the Constitution every single day, we’re going to build a justice system rooted in fairness by investigating and prosecuting political corruption. No one is above the law.
Voters made it clear that they want real accountability and a stronger justice system, and I’m going to do everything I can to deliver it. Thanks for standing with me, John.
