Congratulations to Kamala Harris on breaking an important barrier and becoming the first Black woman Vice President candidate in American history.
All of us will need to do everything we can do to defeat Donald Trump this November, and Joe Biden will need strong progressive energy to win.
His ambitious Build Back Better agenda, based on ideas from Elizabeth Warren and other progressive leaders, was a strong step toward increasing progressive enthusiasm. The PCCC and Biden Campaign launched a joint issue-based volunteer series, focused on calling voters about progressive issues like expanding Social Security, relieving student debt, health care, and bold climate solutions. A big next step progressives expect from Biden is ongoing evidence that Elizabeth Warren-style progressives will have a strong set of seats in a Biden-Harris Administration. This is an issue you'll be hearing more about from us in the near future.
