Friend,

The ability to vote is a right, not a privilege. Many people have fought and lost their lives for the right to vote. And, in a time when so many around the country are losing their voting rights, New York is working to expand them.

In the past two years, the legislature has passed laws to create early voting, which has been used by hundreds of thousands of New Yorkers, and to make federal and state elections happen on the same day, saving millions of dollars and making it easier to vote.

As the recent primary showed, there is still so much work to be done. Every week, from now until the election, we will be phone-banking to people across the district to ensure they are ready and educated on how to vote this Fall. We need you to join the team and help with this important task.

We must secure every New Yorker’s right to vote, for the 2020 election and beyond. To do that, we have to maintain and expand our majority in the State Senate. Can you contribute to our campaign to make sure we have a progressive State Senate that can keep fighting for voting rights?

DONATE NOW: [[link removed]]

At a time when the voting rights of so many are under threat, together, we can work together to protect New Yorkers’ right to have their voices heard and counted.

In service,

Andrew
